Has anyone else noticed how JRM isn't sounding quite as posh recently? He has speeded up his speech and isn't quite as slow and deliberate....maybe he is considering the top job?.... hope so

I think he would make a great PM. Unfortunately, that cannot now happen as the incompetents: May, Hammond and others, have made the Conservatives unelectable.

Fortunately, Compo has done the same for the Loony Party.

I agree, though. Politicians without real world experience can never be anything more than pen pushers.

Quite incidentally, that is also my view of school teachers: for a good all-round ability to teach children of the real world, it is necessary to have experience of the real world oneself.
