I've had slugs have a go at some of the daffs too Pauline. I just hope they stay off the veg patch beans and peas.

I tried to post a photo of the garden from last Spring but then I realised it would be public. Not sure how to post pics so that only members logged in can see.

Will you put the busy lizzies in a hanging basket?

My garden taken a few years ago.

Unfortunately my back has prevented me from doing too much these past few years.

They love the primula's as well Annie,..I think my son wants the busy lizzies,..he is trying to get his garden up together,I'm going away for a week soon,to help him with it,

Thanks Pauline I just mix a bit of Growmore in with the compost when planting them.

Ah,I will try that this year,I believe my dad used to do that,he had a beautiful show,like you,..I would be worried that the grow more would burn the roots of the plants...but obviously I am wrong.

I came home from staying with my son,last night,

To this,..everything is growing at such a rapid rate,we needed the rain and we got it,everything was so dry.
