Easter Bunnies

Just a quickie to say, I overheard to ladies talking today while I was out, and they said that pet shops are not selling rabbits at the mo, and neither are rescues (reputable ones at least), are also not letting any rabbits go.

Such a good idea don't you think. Well done everyone.

At least some are trying to do their bit to stop idiots buying 'Cute Easter Bunnies' for their kids on a whim.

I remember ages ago hearing about Owls being sold after the Harry Potter films got popular, then most dying because people had no idea what to do with them, but I must admit I never thought about the Easter bunnies until I heard this today.

Re: Easter Bunnies

I bought two cute little lambs ( soft toys ) today in Waitrose .
They cost £6 a piece and I had to go to another shop to get one .
I bought the last one in each branch .
I went in the pet shop and it's true there were no bunnies ,
Do people really buy bunnies for Easter ?
Do children still have rabbits ?
They all seem to be addicted to their virtual pets.
