Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Sunshine and heavy showers this morning but luckily had a dry walk.Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Not sure if I've mentioned it on here but our vicar and Mrs. Vicar were leaving this week to live (I thought) in Brecon. It transpired they were to work the living in Llanfaes in Brecon but live in the vicarage in Llanspiddydd - a village about 7 miles away on the Sennybridge road. Off they duly went on Wednesday. Turned out that the house was so awful (don't know details) that they turned on their heels and came straight back to Aberedw, willing to stay with us after all! A friend rang to tell me this around lunchtime - I was gobsmacked. Especially since all his churches had dipped into their respective funds and clubbed together to send him off with a very worthwhile thank you!Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Well it had to happen. Phone call first thing from the farm. A boy in Chris' class has symptoms of Covid so whole class has to stay home and isolate for a fortnight. Mum can work from home, but Jamie can go to school! How weird is that? I shan't see them at all of course. Feeling gloomy, radiators making a noise and youngest son hasn't been to sort that, and carers are grumbling about everything - and loads and loads of washing. Deep joy!Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
