Home amongst the gum trees!
My friend from Perth ( fifth house on the right ) has justvisited us, and they showed us a video? music thingamy!
on their smart phone?
It was a ditty about a home among the gum trees!
Since hearing it, it seems to have captured my imagination?
And l now wake up singing it in my mind?
Can any of our antipodean correspondents tell me if this
tune has ever rated in aussie pop charts?

Is this it Donkeyman. No idea if its been in the Aussie charts, but I think it has been around for quite a number of years. Somebody called Williamson began it, I think. Catchy little tune.

I seem to remember the tune from years ago in uk, but cant
remember the words, some thing like, off to tipperary in the
morning! So probably an old sea shanty?
