Yes some children don't get the opportunity to eat good wholesome food at home .
Eating good food at school will help to educate their palate and may increase their ability to concentrate and learn.

Neither schools nor hospitals should be selling junk food. What people eat away from these establishments is up to them.

Yes - should be banned
There is evidence to show the food does no good to energy levels or health
They should get at least one healthy meal per day

Yes, there's plenty of good, healthy food around that is just as acceptable for school lunches.
I agree with Meg, some kids never see a good, wholesome meal - chips with everything and sugary food is not a good way to eat.

I dont think Schools serve Junk food every day of the week , Chips were on the menu just once a week when mine went ..

And when they go to Secondary they can go out of School grounds and get any Take Away they want .

My daughter's a dinner lady and has refused to serve some meals. Luckily she has a say on suppliers.

Absolutely it should be banned .
If schools don't set an example who will.
Some parents seem to be totally incapable of doing so.
