Alaska Keepers

Our oceans and sensitive coastal habitat are under assault from plastic and other toxic marine debris. GoAK continues to expand its marine debris cleanup program while encouraging others to join the effort through education, prevention and cleanup efforts.

Re: Alaska Keepers

Yep, and it's been present for years on beaches worldwide.
We used to live on Vancouver island. It was normal to take a garbage bag along with us to pick up man's leftovers.
My brother in NZ does the same.
He found a note in a bottle once - from the UK!
It was from a man called Stevie and his family on holiday, but that was about all the info given, other than a phone number.
My brother contacted the number, but sadly it was no longer in service.
