My phone announces who is calling, so I wait to hear who it is before answering, if indeed I do! Then it’s a hello or hiya. If it’s mum’s cousin I answer with ‘hi J***’ and she says (always) ‘how do you know it’s me?’ And I reply, every time, ‘my phone tells me.’ But then maybe she hasn’t heard of, or got, caller display.11-11-2019, 11:28 AM
