Me too, Jazzi.
By putting hot food in a fridge, you lose the cold temperature for all the other food.

Why do you ask, Annie?

no, I always wait for it too cool before refrigerating it. I'm always worried about germs and getting poorly so I'd rather be safe.

Re: Hot food in the fridge?

All fridge manuals tell you never to put hot food in a fridge .
If the someone is the person you live with tell them you need a fridge of your own if they want to carry on going against professional advice.

Re: Hot food in the fridge?

Putting hot food in the fridge may raise the temperature and cause other heat-sensitive foods to deteriorate more rapidly so no I don't do it.
