Whats wrong with smiling ?
Heard a former cat walk model on the radio this morning - she's in her 80s now - saying exactly my thoughts - why don't models smile anymoreThey look so bloomin miserable modelling the clothes that my attention is drawn to that fact, rather than the clothes.
Besides that, again no role models for young girls
I've seen old clips of models right up to 60s and 70s that seem to enjoy modelling the clothes - big smiles

their faces are botoxed and filled to the nth degree , none of their facial muscles are capable of movement 
. You can get more facial expression from a Barbie doll ...

My friend used to,tell me that models had their back teeth removed so they could get sunken-in cheeks.

I've always thought exactly the same Patsy. With a miserable face like most of them have, it's a wonder they sell anything.
It would make more sense and look much better if they looked happy modelling whatever they were wearing. The shop window dummies have more expression than most of those girls.
