And `well done` from me. It`s already been said-start slowly,no `high impact` training. Yoga yes, pilates yes, swimming yes-aerobics when most are in their 20s? No.Re: At this age, I think exercise might kill me if I start.
Take it slow and work up, it'll come.Re: At this age, I think exercise might kill me if I start.

You're lucky Sue to lose so much weight, I wish I could and you're not old either, most of the people on this forum are a lot older then you including me, I was lifting weights at the Gym when I was 59 and nobody laughed at me or even noticed I was there and it was mostly Men there, so go for it!Re: At this age, I think exercise might kill me if I start.
Well done on your current weight loss Hopefloats! And I can relate. When I joined a gym for the first time about eight years ago, I was about 190 pounds. When I started running on the treadmill, I felt like all the thinner runners were watching how much I jiggled everywhere. Lol! What made me feel better was that it was a female-only location. And once the pounds started dropping, I no longer cared about who was looking. Just stay focused on your goals! You can do it.Re: At this age, I think exercise might kill me if I start.
