Hi Mupsy.
If you click o the link above then scroll down to the video, it shows how they are printed. Not the conventional looking house. Obviously, printing is done using concrete, not ink but it is designed and controlled by a computer. So you can design the shape of the house on a computer then 'print' it.

Longdogs! But a acquaintance of mine that works for some sort of
think tank, says 3D printing is the next big thing !!
He says there are various types of " ink" being developed now in
different materials, and even things like turbine blades for jet engines are allready being produced by this method ??
These things have to withstand high temperatures and speeds etc
and so need to consist of metal !!
This is done by using sintered,( powdered) metal particles being
made into a solution so it can be sprayed or rather SPAT by means
of a specialised 3D printer to form the turbine blade !!
This enables the blade to be hollow , and apparently requires no
further machining or work to finish it !! Other than a heat treatment
process requiring a specialised oven !!
Interesting stuff eh!!
