A friend of mine is an ardent twitcher, and goes to the far ends of the country to see a rare species, when he worked for a company it was his regular excuse to leave by saying someone had died.He now works for himself, and his excuse now is he has to go for supplies from the wholesaler to complete the job. Its cheating and poor customer service.

I shouldn't laugh but it so reminds me of living in Kenya when people had grannies, uncles, cousins etc who died every week and they needed money to go up country to the funerals. Some of them must have had hundreds of grannies.
