Good morning everyone. No snow here yet but you never know.Cathedrals Shirleymarie are meant to be very large as they wanted to make a
point that it was the main church of the Bishop of the diocese.
The Archbishop of York lives in the largest which is York Cathedral
in the UK.
It is a Gothic church which took from 1220-1480 to build. Its the
4th largest in the World.
I am off to Mansfield as well today. Don't suppose I will see Alan
as he goes to family and I go to the shops and the bingo.

Good afternoon folks.In contrast to yesterday it is a dull day here in NE Scotland today, although dry for the moment.
Actually, just as I typed that the rain has came on - typical!
The wife is out having dropped her car off for a service this morning and I am currently looking into booking us flights over to visit her brother in Texas soon, as she has booked some time off work in March and we both could do with a break.
Speaking of which, I almost forgot that I had said I'd pick her up from town to save her hanging about waiting for the car!! Good thing I remembered as I was just about to pour myself a Saturday afternoon Guinness which would have left her stranded with the new drink driving laws.
So without further ado, I'd better go.
