There is a chair in the laundrette, but I think most people just put their washing on, time it and go back. We all have our own key. It just seemed pretty ignorant to me to actually do that, but they're probably used to doing it.Re: is it really just me?
Poor mum lived right next to their communal launderette, and though opening times for Sunday was 8am she was always disturbed about half hour earlier by someone using the larger, noisier machine, so it woke her up. The room was then locked, and mum given a key, but I think she stopped bothering to have it locked for some reason.
