I remember feeling it was like a miracle when I was told I had my wee maisonette flat. I didn't know where I was going to be living and it was frightening. I just love it to bits.

A true tale... when my children were at primary school, I would dutifully go along to their plays, concerts etc.. One Christmas, they were performing a play depicting the life of Jesus.. One bit was about the feeding of the 5000 in which one pupil was describing to another how Jesus had fed the crowd with only 5 loaves and 2 fish. At which point he held up an empty pot noodle carton and proclaimed "It's a bloody miracle". The place just erupted with laughter.

Bearing in mind I do not beleive in a higher power..

In Oct 2012 my beloved dog died and later that day I posted this slide show for him.

The following day I stood by the back door, trying to find the strength to go out walking my other two and face the world without my beloved boy..
When I did open the door I was greeted by a rainbow that spanned the sky in front of the house..

I know what rainbows are and that its not uncommon in october to see one, but just at that moment it felt as if he was with me one last time.
