updating at home

Over the past year we've been slowly "updating" things around the house. I think I'm happy with the lounge now. You can't see it all here, it's quite large but I think the changes are finished (for now at least).

Re: updating at home

Anyone still have Marley Tiles on their floor? It's what covers the whole of the floor of my flat, apart from stone tiles in the kitchen which are a newish addition. I should imagine Marley were quite the thing when laid, but now there are odds and sods of replacement tiles many of which have paint splashes and smudges all over. Suppose I, like most before me ought to carpet over them, but it's a big flat and rather too expensive for the time being.

Re: updating at home

Very nice Loretta
I am updating too starting with the sitting room . All the old dark furniture has gone to be replaced with a few small items of light oak furniture and I am now just waiting for the new cream chair covers (which take 8 weeks) to arrive.

Having got rid of all the large furniture I then found there wasn't anywhere to stand a large vase of flowers so I have purchased a wicker plant stand all the way from Bosnia Herzegovina It only cost £8 and even with the shipping was I think a good buy and it looks very nice matching Chloes basket and the waste basket.
