...and now the floods

This should put out some of the fires:

Oh yes, a cyclone too:

At least our weather is never boring.

It's a lot to cope with Bruce coming after the terrible fires and as someone who lives in an area prone to bad flooding (but above the flood line) I feel sad for those who will be affected by the weather yet again .

You definitely get more than your fair share of severe weather changes, Bruce.

Re: ...and now the floods

Just at the moment the weather where I am is beautiful. Like a soft early autumn. Normally this time of the year in Sydney it ranges between hot and dry to so hot and wet it feels almost monsoonal. It's just an aberration. Plus we are in a bit of a micro climate here. It'll go hot again soon. Maybe I'm missing something Realspeed but why wouldn't an Australian weather presenter speak with an Australian accent?

Did you expect them to sound Chinese?

Re: ...and now the floods

Just from the maps Brucy, the rain appears to be too far north to
help with the fires?
How are the fires going BTW, the news onnthem appears to be
drying up ( if you will excuse the pun?)

The rain is well and truly in Sydney and the Central Coast. We have a week of it coming according to forecasts. It has made a very significant dent in the fires.
