Re: Tracy Brabin MP

I thought that people in high places ALWAYS kept a change of clothes at their place of work for circumstances such as this. I was nowhere near that far up the corporate ladder but I always kept a suit and tie in my office in case of need.

Re: Tracy Brabin MP

I don't think the dress did her any favours regardless of whether she was in Parliament or anywhere else.
To me it looked untidy and not even a good fit, regardless of her job.

I saw her being interviewed later in a normal top and cardi and thought she looked much nicer.

Depending on what I was doing on any particular day it could have been jeans and T-shirt (or sport's shirt), a white or blue forensic coverall, normal trousers and white shirt, normal black shoes or steel capped safety shoes, never ever flip-flops (except poolside at the end of the day when working away in Malaysia).

Neither was I Percy, and I always kept a spare pair of overalls in my locker in case I spilt oil on them...

...... and you could ALWAYS nip back to the office to change into a suit and tie .....

Some people when working, are peripatetic and pushed for time - for example, when a CEO wanted to see me, it was now and not in an hour (or day) or two when I've nipped back to the office .....

Hence, I ALWAYS wore one of several suit/shoe/shirt/tie combinations .....

But ..... I kept some "rough stuff" (for emergencies) in the car boot .....
