I don't think the dress did her any favours regardless of whether she was in Parliament or anywhere else.To me it looked untidy and not even a good fit, regardless of her job.
I saw her being interviewed later in a normal top and cardi and thought she looked much nicer.

Neither was I Percy, and I always kept a spare pair of overalls in my locker in case I spilt oil on them...

Hence, I ALWAYS wore one of several suit/shoe/shirt/tie combinations .....
But ..... I kept some "rough stuff" (for emergencies) in the car boot .....
