Of course you're serious ..... but I doubt that anyone in a civilised country would treat your suggestion seriously .....

Even if they did, it wouldn't make any difference - over 200 corpses litter Mount Everest but they don't stop people paying to form a queue to the summit .....

Who were these four people? Apart from being complete and utter idiots, were they local people, holidaymakers? Were they even British?

As yet, we don't know but over 130,000 climbers complete a journey to the summit every year with a further 100,000 people trekking part of the way up the mountain.

I've never claimed to be civilised but that apart living in a civilised country comes with responsibilities and clowns like these who obviously fail to understand this should not be granted the protection that comes with living in a civilised country.

Nor should the people who know this put themselves out or spend the money to do anything for them.

What a brilliant idea! Let's go climb Ben Nevis, with all the warnings about Storm Ciara ringing in our ears. Just wear some light equipment, that should do it! Got to be stupid gits of the year, and we're only in February.

They're candidates for this year's Darwin awards for their downright stupidity aren't they?

All those CRIMINALS rescued from the channel should fine themselves back in France.

And they are criminals by the very act of seeking to avoid legitimate entry into OUR country.

I heard that story. I hope the lifeboat crews give these people a good telling off when they do stupid things.
