Today I was supposed to be going to Northumberland for a few days but because of the strict rules there we had to cancel...anyway hubby is taking me out for lunch as compensation so its not all bad news.

Good morning everybody.It's the day for my lipoma operation. I'm feeling really nervous about the general anasthetic!!
I had to be up before 7.00am as it's the latest time I can eat anything. I just grabbed some tea & toast - from now on it's nil by mouth.
I do so wish I was a the surgeons morning list instead of the afternoon.

Good Morning everyone,Going to be warm here today.
Must put the finishing touche to an 80th birthday card, shimmy up the step ladder to put up my new curtain track, and drill the kitchen wall and put up a new shelf. Treated myself to a new Black and Decker drill - a cordless one - so will be seeing how that works out. Came with an amazing collection of drill bits!

Good morning everyone a dull misty autumnal start, I hope it warms up later.I am waiting for a phone call, I hate doing this you can't get anything done hanging around waiting for what could be all day.
Meanwhile I can pick and trim some beans and wash the kitchen floor.
