Just been watching a well known photographer demonstration how to clean a camera sensor. Unfortunately the company sponsoring him have obviously told him to push their products at every opportunity.

By doing this a lot of alternative options and equipment has been seriously omitted. So what would have been a good instructional video is now missing the variety of of other products available

Such a shame companies lay down strict guidlines on "how to/ must push" their products

But that is how such videos are PAID for!

What's the point of for that matter where's the sense in going to the not insubstantial cost or producing a video that results in a competitor getting the sales?

Everything has a cost, everything has a price. Nobody rides for free or should expect to.
