Perhaps a prison officer was carrying it, he had lots of underlying health problems too and apparently refused treatment for covid. If a po did give it to him I'd like to shake that prison officers hand , ooopybi mean buy him a pint!

Especially those of us who live in Yorkshire and who lived through the `Ripper years`. One of the victims (Helen Ritka) was murdered in my home town and disposed of in a local timber yard. Another one, an innocent sixteen-year-old (Jayne MacDonald) who had nothing to do with prostitution was found near a pub we students used to frequent at Bradford University.

I was frequently stopped while driving at night on `Ripper checks` and women lived in fear. It didn't help when the copper in charge of the investigation wasted a lot of time trying to trace someone with a Geordie accent who sent in a false confession tape - almost overnight, all Geordie men became suspects. Sutcliffe wasn't caught by expert policing but by pure accident while he was parked up in his car with a prostitute in a red light area. Three bobbies investigated the car and found it to have false number plates. A later visit to the scene revealed a discarded knife, hammer, and a rope.

May he rot in hell.
