Re: Good Morning Friday

Good morning everybody.

I'm up bright & early awaiting a Hotpoint repair man for my condenser dryer. His ETA is 7.15 - 10-15 so I have to be ready in case I'm first on his list.

The rest of the day will be spent in my greenhouse. I didn't manage to pot all my roses yesterday & now & have some spring and summer bulbs to plant as well.

No other plans.

Have a good day all.

Re: Good Morning Friday

Good morning everyone...looks like another wet dismal day here too I hate it when it stays grey all day

Some sunshine enters my life tomorrow as I have my 3yr old grandson Stanley staying for a whole month whilst his mum has medical treatment abroad. I'm not breaking any rules as its classed as emergency childcare...she will lose all her hair during the treatment so we will have to make sure we facetime every day so he understands the change in her appearance....its a worrying time but I'm determined he will have as good a time as possible.

Have a good day all whatever you have planned and stay safe.

Summer, I hope Stanley's mum gets through her medical treatment safely and that you can cope with a lively 3 year old for a month!

I am sure you will find a way to explain his mum's new hairstyle, and he may have seen some other ladies with no hair on the Cancer ads. When I lost my hair after cancer treatment, everybody told me " Wow your hair has grown so quickly" especially the staff at my supermarket!
I hope everything goes well for all of you!

Good morning all.
After non-stop rain all night long, we finally have some blue sky this morning.

I have been rushing about most of the week, so today is MY day, and I am staying home to potter to my heart's content.

Stay safe folks.

Re: Good Morning Friday

Good morning all, mild and dry here for a change, long may it continue.

Just finished the Friday chores and having a cuppa before deciding on the rest of the day, all I do know is that it's smoked haddock and poached eggs for lunch and the rest of the day can take care of itself.

Have a good day everyone

Re: Good Morning Friday

The sun's up and bright here, after a few very grey and damp days.

I hope all goes well for you and for your daughter Summer, though you seem to be in for a busy time for other reasons too.

My butter and cheese delivery arrived before 7:30 this morning so it's a good job we were all up.
Barry, I like the sound of your lunch but sadly I couldn't cope with that any more. Well not unless it's a small portion. But I love smoked fish and in kedgeree especially ....... oh gawd no, stoppit. Though I might do some for dinner tonight now that this has given me a "fancy".

Have a lovely and above all safe day everybody.
