We have all been teenagers & made stupid mistakes, because we thought we knew better than the adults, so normally I would sorry for her.... but I can't!She was either stupid or agreed with what ISIS were doing!
As a mother, who's children have died, I wonder what sympathy she has for the mothers of children who were killed in the suicide attack by Salman Ramadan Abedi!
Isn't it time that anybody, who is involved with terrorist groups, should be removed from the country where they kill it's residents? We should stop treating them as criminals....they are our enemies & we had no problem killing enemies during our wars
She should have to find a country where terrorist are accepted or continue to live her life in a refugee camp where she may learn a lesson!

That's a "win" for commonsense IMHO.
Another "win" for common sense is the government's decision to call mother just that; mothers.
Rather than the "pregnant person" woke-warrior aspiration, mother is (again IMHO) far more sensible.

The ruling today was only that she need not be present for her appeal to have her British citizenship returned, not that it has been upheld.Legal opinion seems to suggest that it was unlawfully removed making her stateless. The fact that she was only fifteen at the time will doubtless be taken into consideration.
Meanwhile many Isis fighters have returned to Britain, probably some far more dangerous than this misguided young woman.

Since her father is a Bangladeshi citizen then, if she really does want to leave Syria, that is her most obvious next recourse attempt although she will face an at-least equal refusal from there by all accounts.
According to recognized international law she might well be regarded as Bangladeshi, but that obviously does not mean that Bangladesh will accept her.
As for the argument regarding revokation of British citizenship the Supreme Court also ruled that Begum's appeal against this should be "postponed" until she can participate without "public safety being compromised."
In effect the ruling means that her case against the UK is on pause, maybe indefinately.
My personal opinion is that this is her own fault.
Had she shown at least some remorse, either verbally or in the interviews shown on our media, the outcome might - just "might" - have been different.
