Re: Proud Bread Today
Thanks everyone.
My lad is super special - he has had a tough upbringing and was not able to do things other kids do because his elder brother has downs syndrome, autism and a load of other things wrong with him. He and his younger sister had to deal with a lot, growing up being young carers but they both shine through and always impress me with just how hard they are prepared to work and the great characters they have become.
Matt was also a fully qualified session drummer at the age of 15 - grade 8 trinity guild getting 82%. He drums for my band from time to time. Its always a full on gig with Matt in the band, he simply is the most musical drummer I have ever heard.
He got into drums funnily enough by accident when he was 9 years old, he was in hospital with cancer and his teacher commented about his persistent tapping on the desk at school. He made a full recovery (although nearly died twice along the way) but at Christmas, Santa delivered the drum kit and the rest is history.
Time seems to fly by ....
I'm rambling on now ha ha must be lunch time...
