What will the West's choices be then?

Mr Putin has shown Russia remains a force to be reckoned with in the Middle East, just at a time when the Americans seem best characterised by vacillation.

He has shown Russia has a limited but nonetheless impressive expeditionary military capability, and he has given a runout to much of Russia's latest hardware.

So, for now, Mr Putin has a victory of sorts.
I suppose the question is how long will it last?

This war is never ending.
It cannot be won, the best we can hope for is the destruction of ISIS' infra-structure and to delay them.

They'll just resurface elsewhere under a new name. ISIS is just a rebranding of Al Qaida.

I think you are right Tpin, we have been dragged into Muslim tribal wars by immigration and we need to send them back to the land of their ancestors, even if they have been born in their host country.

I've worked for many people, good bad and indifferent, Muslim people are no better or worse.

We are not dealing with your every day Muslims, we are dealing with psychopaths who happen to be Muslim.

Terrorists, no matter their cause or religion are murderous bastards and should be terminated with extreme prejudice.

If that were the case why are there many thousands wishing to leave and settle in the west?

Gone are the days of misinformation, the truth cannot be filtered and edited to suit the ruling tyrants as it once was.
