Re: George Cross For The NHS?

It is an award justly deserved in my opinion, maybe not to everyone in the NHS but there are certainly many that do deserve it. Without no thought to themselves, doctors and nurses up and down the country put their lives on the line on a daily basis, knowing they did not have sufficient PPE to protect them yet still went into infectious wards to help those dying from covid-19 because that is what they do, to help people.

Many NHS nurses and doctors died as a direct cause of covid-19 but did that put off other NHS nurses and doctors, no it didn't. Even when NHS trusts were calling out for more PPE for nurses and doctors, these people still went into infectious wards to help patients, knowing the virus could kill them if they were to catch it.
