Perhaps I´m wrong but I would have thought the doctors would have wanted blood samples from the parents before going ahead with the baby´s operation. These baby stories in the soaps get silly. The one they did in East Enders with Kat and Alphie´s baby when Ronnie Mitchell swapped her dead baby for theirs..............I can´t believe that nobody noticed it was a different baby, a completely unbelievable story line which dragged on and on and on. This Emmerdale one is getting boring and unbelievable too now.

I watch the soaps and I have to admit that some of the stories are OTT, but they have to do something to hold on to their viewing public. If they didn't we would get even more of the awful reality programmes and, if they did, I would be forced to sell my TV spend more time on here talking to you lot

I cannot understand that story-line. Yes forgiving him for sleeping with another woman is one thing, but to be actively encouraging a relationship between him and his illegitimate child just takes the biscuit for me.

That boy irritates the crap out of me anyway.

Mind you, the other "prospective father" is just as annoying.
