Corbyn stated to day that top earners should have a cap put on what they can earn...but no details on how

Does he want to go back to the sixties under Labour when the top rate of tax was 95% and the top earners moved to France.

Or is he stating that Firms are capped in the payments they give to successful people.

Pisses me of that Footballers get half a million a week...but putting a cap on their wages means that they will go somewhere else because of their talent and we will end up watching Wigan Town win the FA cup and nobody will be there to see their victory

I think like many people he says things off the cuff and while trying to bring people together has reffered to them as friends. I know I've said friends occasions when I've known no one in the room, it's possibly a thing us lefties say more than the right ? Not sure they stand up in meetings etc saying welcome friends etc ?

But he's says rather a lot Julie .
As a back bencher he urged a boycott of Israel and wanted Israeli politicians banned from entering the UK.
Under his lead ship anti semitism in the Labour Party has raised its head feeling a little confident perhaps because the leader was a man who openly championed the Palestinian cause without balancing the provocation and terrorist attacks by Hamas .
He supports the pro Palestinian group founded by Holocaust denier Paul Eisen and others that have spread the blood libel about Jews .
He has openly rebuffed invitations to visit Israel.
He has backed down now because he can see what general revulsion it has caused describing terrorist organisations as friends .
But at the end of the day he said these words and moreover his previous history suggests that he does or at least did see them as friends.

Corbyn is totally insane. I see him on TV and am actually embarrassed that I voted Labour for most of my adult life.
