I texted the ABC local radio gardening program this morning to find out what these white blobs on my Lilli Pilli hedge were:



Apparently it is white wax scale, a sap sucker, and white oil is the answer.

No, you are right, that's not what I meant.

I'd never heard of him before, so I googled, and was amazed to learn how he'd built up a £11.5m turnover then went bust.

Your Coma is nice, Caricature, not seen one of those yet & the Buddleia is in full bloom. Only the first Painted Lady I've seen as well.

Yes, that surprised me too.
Life can take some odd twists.
The picture I posted is a personally signed copy so maybe it will become worth something.
