Did you know that my great Grandma lived until she was 99 years and one day and didn't take any vitamin tablets ever?????

That's a jolly good age indeed, One of my husband's Aunts is celebrating her 100th after Christmas, she has smoked cigars and had a tipple of rum every night of her adult life. Never taken a supplement and has sat out on the garden for 10 minutes even in rainy or cold weather. Healthiest lady I have ever met.

I had my flue jab last Friday and had no ill effects at all, I have been having them for years due to the fact I lived with a COPD sufferer and it wouldn't be good to pass it on to him if I caught the flue. However I also suffer from COPD now so have it for myself and ban anyone with the slightest sniffle from the house.

Doctors have suggested a tipple of whisky each night, even if its in yer tea, good for the ticker they say. So I guess Rum may do the same.

Vitamin D supplement has been suggested to take 'many times', thats why I started, take one every day now .....As I get very little sun, and, they say with sunscreens being used we need the supplement.

I thought most forums didn't allow spam.

Think like most things some people need things and some don't and some bodies work differently metabolising things. I always say if it makes you feel better then take it if it doesn't then probably wasting your money. If the doctor says you need it and you feel better then you definitely need to take it. But you can get it cheaper than is advertised on this forum.
