Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Another wet morning but didn't get so soaked as yesterday's walk.
Had a lovely afternoon yesterday, middle grandson came to visit too.
Have another valuation on the house at 3 today.Expect it will be about the same as the other one but it's best to have two valuations so I'm told.
Have a good day.

Grey and miserable here, glad I changed my plans for today. Went out to dinner last night with friends to local hostelry, which was really nice. Friend offered to drive me to Hereford tonight and pick me up afterwards. Quite glad as I'm a bit apprehensive about the visit. Probably daft of me but hey...............................

Sunny at the moment, hope the clothes dry before the rain that's forecasts comes.
Made a decision-I'm not going to move.House prices in the area I was looking at are far too high so I'm staying where I am.
Glad you were able to go for a meal Sue.
New specs are arriving today-I was told they would take 2-3 weeks but had email that they'll be delivered today.
Have a good day.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Went into the hospital ward to see Rob last night, but v concerned to find him looking quite uncomfortable. Hot, sweaty, clammy, breath rattling and not very aware. He's back on a/bs again and the nurse I spoke to this morning says he's looking a lot better. I'll go in again tomorrow, can't do a 50 mile round trip every day.

Got the washing dry this morning but the forecast rain hasn't arrived. However I'm feeling really chilly, wondering whether to put the heating on !

Hope Rob is better next time you see him Sue
What a night ,the sea roared all night and there is so much foam being whipped up off the waves it looks like snow . Sun is coming out at the moment and tide is going out so may calm down
Daughter due today to sort out my recycling
Have a safe one xxx

It's blowing a hooley here and pouring with rain - what a day. I'm seriously thinking of putting on the heating so that the house will be warm when I come back from the hospital this evening. I have a thick cardigan on, but can't say I'm really warm atm.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

A little less windy today. One of my garden fence panels got blown yesterday-not quite blown away but will need to replace it,can't patch it up.
Lot of debris on the roads, leaves are falling fast in this weather.Saw pictures on the news of the high waves along the coast. The sea must have been spectacular to look at Jac.
Been shopping this morning, now indoors for the rest of the day.
Keep safe.

The sea is a bit calmer today with surfers enjoying . I dodged the showers to clean my window ,it was full of salt and could hardly see through. I'm shattered now though.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

This weather is getting me down. I actually put the heating on on Friday evening and am thinking about doing it again tonight! Just back from Church (wearing winter puffy jacket and scarf) so nice to see folks, even if we were all darting around to keep away from each other. Strange service, no hymns and receiving communion ( bread only) one at a time and at arms length from masked priest.

Phoned the hospital before I went and his nurse said that Rob is a bit better this morning and off a/bs. Fingers crossed that they can fit the PEG on Wednesday and then he'll be home in a few days.
