Re: In Charge

Yes - I think socialising is very important. Just being with other people, listening to their views and even just getting out of the house!

Brain Fog - I understand that too ...................

Re: In Charge

I am in charge of myself and that is the most important thing

Bad decisions can be made at any age but generally the older we get the less impulsive and wiser we become so our decision making skills should improve.

Yep that resonates with me. I have noticed that I have become decidedly less impulsive as I have got older. I always had to be so controlled - and sometimes controlling - in my professional days. But underneath and in my private life I was always a little impulsive. With money mainly. And I would react more quickly with people that were bugging me. Now I find I think longer about how I'm going to respond and "rehearse" my responses first. I suppose I make better decisions more often.

That is the only thing any of us are in charge of. That governs all we do, decisions we make, how we run our lives. We cannot change anything outside of that and there is definitely no way we can change others, unless of course they wish to be changed. Ourselves and how we are is all we can ever change. We might be able to influence various aspects of our lives, again by what we ourselves do, but it still comes back to us being in charge of ourselves.

That's how I see it anyway.
