Killer tornado

A killer tornado rips through Nashville, Tennessee killing 24.
One poor woman lost her toddler when it was ripped out of her arms by the tornado. The mother had been hiding in the bathtub with the toddler in her arms. The baby was later found 8 miles away.

The poor woman and her baby is such a tragedy, a terrible thing to happen.

Re: Killer tornado

The mother survived. Now, unfortunately, she will probably blame herself for not being strong enough to hang on to the toddler. so sad. Even a big, strong man probably could not have hung on to the baby.

A couple of links:-

and - as if those poor people didn't have enough to cope with - trumpington is going to visit! I am sure he, and his entourage, will be very useful.

Horrendous, weird phenomenon tornadoes, some properties can be completely destroyed while others are left untouched.

Yes, indeed. I have seen photos of a drinking straw driven through a solid oak door.

On the other hand, I once heard about a baby, in it's bed, being taken away and left, totally unharmed, miles away.
Weird.

Re: Killer tornado

that's awful, it must be so frightening to be in a place when one of those strikes. Mother nature at her worst.

They are unpredictable as they can move in any direction, guess that is the fascination for those who chase them.
