Good Morning everyone. Have a good day and stay safe. After I have walked Amber it is home for a shower and change of clothes and then off to the hospital again for 10 am. Just hope they don't put me on a drip all day again like last Friday. God bless.

Good morning Moyra and all to follow, a bright morning here but still a chill wind.

Back from a very gentle walk around the pond with the dogs, and having a brew now before heading over to my Mum's to jetwash her garden paths, which are quite slippery with winter algae.

Mr Mags has a doctor’s appointment this morning, he’s hoping the waiting room will be free of coughs and sneezes

Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to you all!

Cold here this morning. A dry and fine day with plenty of sunshine in the morning, turning increasingly windy is forecast. Maximum temperature 14ºC.

Shopping to do this morning. My stocks of food are low, far lower than usual so a necessity today.

I might manage to get out in the garden later to prepare a raised bed for the early potatoes which are chitting nicely in the spare bedroom. I just hope the soil isn't too wet.

Good morning everybody. I was up early awaiting a TV aerial fitter. We'd lost the BBC & ITV channels, re tuning didn't help so we were told that we needed a new aerial.

Thank goodness he was honest - he looked at my remotes and asked me which one I'd used to re tune. I pointed to the DVD recorder remote. Duh!! - it was the wrong one!!
I'd tuned the DVD player in but not the TV... Oh I'm so thick!!!

Anyway he charged me £20 to re tune it and for his call out time so I wasn't grumbling at that. Having to take sole charge of everything, with Tony being the way he is isn't always easy.. I'm on a learning curve!!

Ah well, nice things to come. I've got my back pack packed & ready & picking my friend Chris up in half an hour. We're going a walk in the Derbyshire Dales.
Ady is taking Tony out for the day.

Did our usual weekly shop in Tesco this morning and all shelves seemed to be well stocked. In fact , the only shortage I could see was the 32GB mini-SD cards (out of stock) that I wanted to buy for our new mobile phone.
