Wycliffe

Is it just me or is this one of the most boring programmes evert to appear on TV? There are repeats on at the moment and I know it is old but it is.... just.... so.... boring, Perhaps even more boring that Vera.

Anyone disagree?

I was hoping no one would reply to my question which would prove my point.

Re: Wycliffe

I watched it in the early days but realise it is now dated.

I don't think I watched it in the early days, only now. Perhaps that's the problem, just too dated.

Re: Wycliffe

Yes that was on here years ago. Even when it was new it seemed really stilted and slow. I like Jack Shepherd. He's done some good work. But that show was a real bore I agree. Her was dour and and miserable and his female detective character had no personality at all. So yes it was a loser.

Re: Wycliffe

I agree totally, supremely boring and dated. But worse still are all the episodes, endlessly repeated, of Poirot. I'd rather pull my eyelashes out one by one than watch that
