Re: Had jabs but still hospitalised.

I'm pleased to say Stuart has turned the corner.

He's still very weak & has to have a sleep after the simplest thing like having a wash.

They may be letting him come home in the next day or two. He needs to see a physiotherapist first. Paula said the weight's just dropped off him & where his arm muscles used to be is just loose skin.

He has a long battle ahead.

That's good news, Carol, but I must say, after someone being so very ill, why on earth are they even thinking about sending him home within the next day or two?
Didn't they do this last time, and he had a relapse?

Re: Had jabs but still hospitalised.

Yes they did Mups but then he got pneumonia and had to be re admitted.

I guess they just want to get rid of patients as soon as possible. Hopefully this time he will be ok.

The vaccines reduce the of getting seriously ill, but they don't guarantee that it won't happen.

I think it was because Stuart is diabetic that he was so ill.
