Well Mups Straight answer, there usually ain't much difference cost wise (bit like ink and Printers), everyone likes a change, change the lot IMO.

I have no idea how old our mattress is, probably around fifteen years or so. It's just as uncomfortable now as the day we got it but they are far too expensive to replace every 8 years. My Nan & granddad had their bed for as long as I remember with no comfort problems. They also kept their pillows for years too.

What's printing ink got to do with the price of fish??

Are you saying best to buy a new printer instead of just changing a cartridge?

Yes, good comment about pillows, Dongle.
I wonder how frequently most people replace pillows too?
We have paid out for some expensive pillows in the past but they all end up the same, flat as a pancake.

Don't be daft woman, Ink is the mattress say £30.00, a new Printer is £35.00, a Mattress is £250.00 a new bed £300.00 silly billy.
