There was also, when I was very much younger, a visiting local fairground with an 'attraction' called
'The Bearded Lady", work that one out!
So, did you enjoy the fairground attraction? Was it perfect?

Re: Beards or clean shaven

I've had a goatee since I was around 21. My wife loves it and always has. I don't even think about it. It's just me. I don't have much of a chin so it makes me feel better about it. I have a stick figure Saint tattoo on my ankle that I did myself when I was 17. It's stupid but it's so small I don't even think about it. No piercings. MY wife has several in her ears for earrings. I couldn't care less what bodily hair people have or don't have, what colour it is or it's length. Same with Tattoos and piercings. It's the person inside that matters. Although I do draw the line at women with beards. Even if they're men. Viz the Israeli bloke that won Eurovision a few years back. IF you're going to pretend to be a woman; fine. But at least do it properly

Yes, that is the exception.
Maybe irrational that's my excuse.

Well that was a long, long time ago now, around six decades. It was well before today's, lesbians, gays and 'gender realignment' etc., I can recall though that he / she looked just like a man with a beard dressed as a woman. No doubt that pulled in the cash from those who were inquisitive though and that was what it was all about

Re: Beards or clean shaven

I am not too keen on piercings or tattoos on a man, but I don't mind beards as long as the beard is clean. I once went out with a man who had a lovely dark beard, but we parted. When I next saw him he had shaved it all off and I was so surprised how different he looked - not good at all - he should have kept the beard.

Re: Beards or clean shaven

I got tired of shaving every day for no reason during Lockdown. I have a very short beard, maybe 3mm long, that runs along the jawline, upper lip and chin. I don't like "neckbeards" at all though, so I do shave the neck and trim the beard every couple of days. AT least it halves the time I used to spend shaving every morning! No piercings or tattoos.

Re: Beards or clean shaven

I don't mind whether they have fuzz or are clean shaven, doesn't bother me either way.
I prefer personality.

Dad had a handlebar 'tache, never saw him clean shaven in all the years I knew him. So I guess if you grow up looking at a 'tache all your life, you get used to seeing one - which makes it's no big deal if someone has one or not, for me anyway.

Now you've explained the look, it sounds appealing, Tachyon.
I may rethink my personal tastes in facial hair. Hmmm....
