Tattoo?

Does anyone here have a Tattoo? Big or small, Singular or Smothered?

I don't personally, but was curious if anyone else does.

Regards,
Rainbow

Hi Azz, Then when you do, perhaps you might decide on an EAGLE!!!

Have you any ideas what you might like, if and when you do?

Re: Tattoo?

I know I'm asking for it saying this, but I worked with a chap who got the 'Last Supper' done in tatoo on his back, can you imagine that!, Christ and the twelve apostles going to bed with you every night for the rest of your life. I remember him going from work every evening for six Months to have it completed and it cost him a bomb, thats no joke. Don't know where he is now.

Re: Tattoo?

People have so many different reasons for their Tattoo's (have watched Miami Ink)!!

Did you ask him why he chose the 'Last Supper'? The detail of such a Tattoo would have been amazing for the Artist - as you say, it took six months to complete!

(Thankfully, we don't need or require Tattoo's in order to be close to God).

Re: Tattoo?

I can not see any sense in having Tattoo's unless it is to cover some Blemish or scar.

Re: Tattoo?

I don`t have any but they are very popular.

When I was younger it tended to be just sailors or weirdoes with them but I would say around 50% of those under 40 around the gym/pool have them-some small and discrete other with them all over

Re: Tattoo?

I never got around to asking him why Rainbow, but he was not an over religious fella, he went to Church now and then but that was it. He would proudly present his back to anyone who wanted to look at it in the pub or the workshop, sometimes the boss would ask him to come out to the shop and show some customers, they loved it and if the boss made a good sale he would slip him a few extra quid. It was quite a work of art, but it's well faded by now, they do look horrible when they fade and lose the lovely colours.
