They could also increase the price of a pack of cigarettes to £20 as per Australia and this would generate great tax revenues.

Hi

No it wouldn't, every time they raise the price more get smuggled.

It is a self defeating objective.

50 grams of rolling tobacco costs £19.25 in the supermarkets, £7 on the street.

On the radio, a few days ago, they were saying that much of our debt, to the EU, will be about covering the pension packages for all of the EU employees.

Surely we won't want to deny them that....?

Knowing how soft this country is, I fully expect the government to pay the EU everything they demand.

Damn it, we feed the world so why not feed the EU as well?

Its the pension liability for 1730 retired British eurocrats.
