Re: Teenage Truths.
I ruined our middle daughter's life on a daily basis when she was a teenager! I would send her back to the bathroom to scrub the makeup off her face as a young teen before she went to school. At thirteen I refused to give her permission to go into the local town with some lads much older than her. I had a rule if I could hear my kid's music it was too loud! She said she would never be so mean to her kids. I do wish I had a recording of her saying that! At 38 she is a brilliant Mum, but certainly no walk over when it comes to discipline.Re: Teenage Truths.
I think all kids of all generations go through this, I know I did. You start to discover that you are a person, an independent being and your generation is going to change the world, everything else is old hat. They soon get the message and fall in line like we did, it's a case of having to, like it or not.Re: Teenage Truths.
