Because they're corrupt and look after their own.

I'm hoping that someone will assassinate him.

The world would be a better place without him.

I would certainly like to see him brought to account, as well as Jack Straw and the Attorney General at the time, Goldsmith, as well. They were all three complicit and should be on trial for the deaths of many innocent men, women and children, as well as our own armed service personnel.

Re: Government

It is just disgraceful, him getting off.
Still I suppose in all honesty , it was never going to happen, sad to say.

Re: Government

I was reading in the DM this morning that Blair could still be dragged before the courts for leading Britain into the disastrous Iraq war.

Lawyers for the families of service personnel killed are assessing the implications of a string of recent "significant court judgements" - including the Supreme Court's ruling in January that Royal Prerogative powers could not be used to force through Brexit. It was understood that Blair could have used the prerogative to go to war, but he instead put the decision to a vote in Parliament. It could, therefore, be deemed that the lie of weapons of mass destruction could be used against him as he was not protected by the prerogative.

The families lawyers are seeking to build a civil case against the former Labour leader and other Whitehall officials. It has been funded with the help of generous DM readers, who raised £150,000 in two weeks.

Re: Government

Hi

We can forget it.

You cannot win against the system except with a Referendum.

We had one, ordinary people kicked the Government into touch.

They are running scared, we will not get another one any time soon.
