I'm currently reading a book by Rosie Goodwin called 'Whispers'
It's a ghost story - it's so good I just can't put it down.
If you haven't read any of her books I can recommend them. This is the first ghost story she's written - it's brilliant as are all her other stories.
I'm glad you're enjoying it Carol, women make terrific ghost story writers, look at what Mary Shelley wrote, they're still making films about Frankensteins monster today.
Just Googled it Carol, as I love a book I can engrossed in. It's had excellent reviews on Amazon, saying exactly what you did, about not being able to put it down.
I don't usually go for ghost stories but since I discovered Rosie Goodwin I make an effort to read all her books.
At first I didn't think I was going to like this one as much as her others but after about 50 pages, the present comes together with the past and a sad story unfolds - it's riveting!
Thanks Carol!
Have just added it to my Kindle for my holiday
I hope you enjoy it as much as I am doing ruthio.
As I said in my OP, it's a bit slow at first so bear with it. Once the past & present come together it's absolutely riveting...
