A wage should be based on added value to their employer. Nothing to do with what they do, just the value they represent as a result of doing their job. Market values will obviously affect a wage based on the scarcity of the skill they possess but let's take a lorry driver and a solicitor as a comparison. All a lorry driver does is drive a vehicle from A to B albeit he will have a period of training in order to gain an appropriate license. His personal VALUE to his employer by doing his job is not a great deal.Re: £20 per HR for lorry drivers !!
