Peace and Quiet

Hi

Much as I love them, the pretendies can be hectic.

They have been, eaten, both been on google home , alexa, messaging their cousins in Poland and generally having a riot.

Guy made the mistake of showing them translate, so are now speaking Chinese.

They have now gone home, with mum and dad who are also shattered after being up to the early hours helping to build their presents.

A glass of wine and a sleep is in order now.

I hope your day has gone well.

Sounds like fun, Swimmy. I am just about to go out to my friends for Christmas Dinner - and to play with their mini schnauzer - harley!

Yes ... after the Christmas stresses ...relax..... take a deep breath ...hold it, hold it ... then expel it in one big whoosh and feel all that tension drain out.

Been quiet here. I don't do Christmas. Don't like it.

Up early - as is my wont. Had a great day yesterday. It's now boxing day morning and the only thing on the agenda today is the cricket; the Boxing Day test match against NZ from The G after watching the start of the Sydney to Hobart yacht race.

Not sure what you mean there but whatever. But a nice calm day, inland at least, would be great for helping get the fires under control.

Family get togethers can be noisy, much as you love folks, and it's good to know they are there, but, sometimes you just wish they would tone it down.
