Re: Mice in the Attic

I'm surprised nobody has suggested getting a cat, they do tend to be rather good 'mousers' and getting rid of pests like mice!

Re: Mice in the Attic

I haven’t got a cat .
This is a dog village cats are few and far between .

Anyway I am going to try a few more ‘natural ‘methods .

Moth balls , onions and peppermint toothpaste are deterrents apparently !

The attic is going to stink !

Have a look at this, Muddy.
It says about 'natural methods.'

Re: Mice in the Attic

That’s that idea gone then!
I can’t see where they are getting in but now I suspect the garage which is attached to the house .
My neighbour ( a builder ) says they get up through the cavities .
He is renovating a house nearby and says that had mice in the attic and it had stood empty for over a year .
Meanwhile my friend ( same village ) has had mice in the kitchen cupboards.
They ate her flour and other dried stuff she has had to throw everything away and have a big clear out ..
This is obviously mouseville !

Sadly those mice are on to good thing, but look at it this way, at least they aren't ratties, more likely Field mice who have moved out of the fields & into homes.
