If Scotland tries again for independence - and wins - what will happen to the Union Flag and the Royal Standard ?

Assuming NI leaves us as well, it would be the cross of St George and the three lions.

Personally, I think they'd look better than the present ones.

Someone said that and I think they have a point.
I think the present Australian flag should be replaced by the Aboriginal one.

Hmm. Ok. THat's one way of putting it I guess. The Australian flag debate has always been over egged from my point of view. All this arguing on design etc. The design is already there and has always been there. Just drop the Union Jack and move the federation star up. Easy. I think the Australian flag and the Indigenous flags should fly side by side everywhere. One doesn't need to replace the other. It's the "Jack" that represents invasion. Drop that and let them fly together. The Southern Cross, the Aboriginal flag and the Torres Straits Islands flags.They are all we need. But I guess this is off track..thread is about the England flag yes?
