Yes, I think we all have an ego. Egos can get bruised.

But some of us need it stroked much more often than others.

Personally I think our ego is our inner self
It can be inflated, battered, remain intact mo matter what

Mine fluctuates from lowly to exceptional in less than 24 hours, depending on the outside influences!

We need more Ego Warriors!

They'd soon sort out pass marks, in college, Corvid laws, and so on!

They could be paid to go round telling people what rules they're breaking!

Pauline... l don’t know why but l tend to associate an ‘ego’ with men. To me, ‘Ego’ is quite a masculine word.

I think ‘ego’ is stronger than self confidence. There’s nothing wrong in being confident but l think those with an ego, think they are invincible, untouchable and don’t like their ego to be knocked.

I would say, l am very confident but that came more when l became a mother and has risen with age/maturity.

Never stopped to think about it. I just decide what I want and go balls out* to get it and devil take the hindmost.

*Balls out is a term from the days of stationary steam engines where the speed governor was an arrangement of steel balls on springs hence balls out means going as fast as possible.
